C

The C in USAA stands for Company, and if you’re a military member or veteran, then it's likely you already know what that means. The company was founded in 1922 by a group of military officers and their wives who wanted to create an insurance company specifically for people serving in the United States Armed Forces. It's had a long history of serving the military community since then—and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

USAA is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where its first office was located on Alamo Plaza. Today there are over 2 million members spread out across 50 states and the District of Columbia—but all roads still lead back to our headquarters here in town!

D

D: USAA. This is the first letter of the alphabet that you see in this list, and it's also where we'll start our journey into USAA's origins.

USAA was founded in 1922 by two brothers as an insurance company for military officers and their families. Since then, it has grown from a small regional business to one with more than $100 billion in assets under management. Today, USAA serves over 10 million members through its products and services—which include banking, investing and insurance products—through its website or via mobile app (available on both iOS/Android).

USAA is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas; but its reach extends nationwide through its network of financial centers located throughout the United States as well as internationally in London (UK), Tokyo (Japan) and Zurich (Switzerland).

E

E is for Emergency

An emergency can be anything from a fire or natural disaster to a power outage. Here are some things you should know about preparing for an emergency:

  • Create an emergency kit that contains the basics like water, food and clothing. Also include important documents like birth certificates, passports and Social Security cards. You'll want to keep this kit in a safe place where it won't get damaged or lost if there's an earthquake or other natural disaster.

  • If someone needs help after a hurricane, tornado or other disaster where they've lost power, call 211 and let them know what type of assistance they need (food/water/shelter) and where they are located so they can be rescued by first responders when needed!

F

  • USAA is a financial services company. It was founded in 1922 by 25 military officers who saw a need for better insurance coverage for service members and their families. Today, USAA provides banking, investment products, and life insurance to more than 12 million members.

  • The name “USAA” stands for United Services Automobile Association (or "U S A" if you're going alphabetically).

  • The company is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas—the city where its first office was established back in 1922.

J

Jack is a USAA team member with 3 years of experience. He’s been helping customers understand the importance of financial planning and investing since he joined our company.

Jack is also a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army for 6 years before coming to work for USAA. He says his favorite part of his job is being able to help people—both veterans and non-veterans alike—with their finances so they can live well into retirement or pass along wealth to their families when they die.

K

The letter K stands for Keychain, Kicking and Pushing, Kissing and Hugging, Kindness and King of the Hill.

Each letter represents a trait that all children should be taught from a very young age. Children need to learn how to be kind towards others by showing them compassion when they are in need of it. They also need to know how important it is for them to show kindness in return as well! It's important for children to understand what being kind means because once they grow into adults we want them having learned these lessons so that they can pass them on down throughout generations.
